A RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
TOWN OF LOS GATOS
Downtown Parking Assessment District
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara,
California, that
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1987, this Council adopted Resolution No. 1987 -13, A
Resolution of Intention to Make Acquisitions and Improvements;
WHEREAS, the changes and modifications hereinafter ordered will not increase the
total amount of the assessment or the amount of any individual assessment nor eliminate
or add any acquisitions or work which will substantially and adversely alter or affect the
benefits to be derived from the work and acquisitions;
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity require the changes and
modifications hereinafter ordered;
WHEREAS, the Engineer of Work has filed with the Town Clerk proposed revisions
to the Engineer's Report as preliminarily approved by this Council, to wit: revisions in the
assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That the total assessment in said proceedings as preliminarily approved be
decreased from $2,000,000.00 to $1,782,451.30.
2. That changes and modifications be made in the method of apportionment of the
assessments as reflected in said Engineer's Report on file with the Town Clerk.
3. That changes and modifications be made in individual assessments as set forth
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
4. That the additional amount of $217,548.70, as reflected in said revision of
assessments, will be contributed to the project by the Town of Los Gatos.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on 18 day of May 19 87 , by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson, and
Mayor Brent N. Ventura
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS Thomas J. Ferrito and Robert L. Hamilton
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS done
