A RESOLUTION REGARDING SAFE DRIVING PRACTICES
WHEREAS, The Town of Los Gatos hereby resolves that active measures should be
taken to reduce abusive driving that is manifested in recklessness,
drunkenness, inappropriate speed, and weaving; and
WHEREAS, in order to protect the community from the tragic consequences of bad
driving, the Council will request and support county and statewide
proposals to better educate drivers at all levels and to curtail
abusive driving.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 18th day of May 198 7
by the following vote.
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Thomas J. Ferrito, Robert
L. Hamilton, and Mayor Brent N. Ventura
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
