A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TOMN ENGINEER AS
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Section 5012 provides that the
Town Council may appoint a person to perfvorm the duties imposed upon the
street superintendent by state lava; and
WIHEREAS, the Town will be conducting a public hearing on Harch 23,
1487 concerning the formulation of a downtown parking assessment district
and purusant to Division 4 and Division 12 of the Streets and Highways
Code which calls for certain duties of the superintendent of Streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos appoints the Town Engineer as the Superintendent of Streets for
purposes of processing and implementing the downtown parking assessment
district only,
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th day
of March , 1987 by the following vote.
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Eric D. Carlson Thomas J. Ferrito,
Robert L. Hamilton, and Mayor Brent N. Ventura
