A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, under Government Code Section 65353, the Town Council conducted a
public hearing for consideration of an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Los
Gatos General Plan on December 1, 1986.
WHEREAS, the Town Council considered the item as shown in Resolution No.
86 -4 of the Planning Commission.
RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the amendment will not have a
significant impact on the environment, and makes the Negative Declaration.
RESOLVED: The Town Council amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan
as follows:
2.5.9. Existing Clubs, Lodges, Etc.:
Existing clubs, o ges, halls, fraternal organizations and
convalescent hospitals located in residential zones shall be able to
obtain Conditional Use Permits in order to remain and any application
for an existing facility must demonstrate that the facility does not
impair the integrity of the zone.
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that Los Gatos General Plan
Amendment GP -86 -5, as recommended by the Planning Commission September 24, 1986, (a)
meets the requirements for a land use element, (b) is consistent with the Town of
Los Gatos General Plan, and (c) that all proceedings have been conducted in
compliance with the provisions of Government Code Section 65350 et seq.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Towr
Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 1st day of December
1986, by the following vote:
