A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC
LAND USE PLAN
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Government Code section 65353, the Town
Council conducted a public hearing for consideration of amending the General Plan
and the Downtown Specific Plan on December 1, 1986.
WHEREAS, during this hearing the Town Council considered the item shown in
Resolution No. 83 -7 of the Planning Commission.
RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the amendments will not have a
significant impact on the environment, and makes the Negative Declaration.
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the Los Gatos General Plan Amendment
GP -86 -6, as recommended by the Planning Commission on October 8, 1986, (a) meets the
requirements for a specific plan, (b) is consistent with the Town of Los Gatos
General Plan, and (c) that all proceedings have been conducted in compliance with
the provisions of Government Code section 65350 et seq. and hereby adopts attached
Exhibit A.

this 1st day of December 1986, by the following vote:
