A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
TO FILE FOR FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
UNDER THE DISASTER RELIEF ACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, that
Robert J. Bryant, Director of Parks, Forestry and Maintenance Services is hereby
authorized to execute for and in behalf of the Town of Los Gatos, a public entity
established under the laws of the State of California, this application and to
file it in the appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain
Federal Financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (Public Law 288, 93rd
Congress) or otherwise available from the President's Disaster Relief Fund.
THAT The Town of Los Gatos, a public entity established under the laws
of State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State and
to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for all matters pertaining to
such Federal disaster assistance the assurances and agreements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on the 3rd day of November, 1986 by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Thomas J. Ferrito, Brent N.
Ventura, and Mayor Terrence J. Daily
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
