RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS ADOPTING FEES FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 7 OF THE CODE OF
THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RESOLVED, the Building Official shall charge the following fees for
permits and inspections conducted under the provisions of chapter 7 of
the Los Gatos Town Code:
1. GENERAL
a. Occupancy Inspection
The fee for inspection and report for
change of occupancy or occupancy in-
spection shall be: $75.00
b. Plumbing, Electrical Mechanical
The fee for insurance of each plumbing
permit, electrical permit, and mechanical
permit shall be: 10.00
c. Inspections not otherwise listed
The fee for any inspection for which no
fee is otherwise prescribed herein shall be: 30.00
per hour per inspection, but in no event
shall the fee be less than: 30.00
d. Permit File Search
The fee for copies of permits shall be: .10
per page, with a minimum charge of: 1.00
2. BUILDING CODE
The fee for each Building Permit shall be based upon
the following valuation of each building or structure
for which a permit is issued:

$501 to $2,000 . . . . . . . . . . $15 for the first $500 plus $2 for each
additional $100 or fraction thereof,
to and including $2,000.
$2,001 to $25,000 . . . . . . . . $45 for the first $2,000 plus $9 for each
additional thousand or fraction thereof,
to and including $25,000.
$25,001 to $50,000 . . . . . . . . $252 for the first $25,000 plus $6.50
for each additional thousand or
fraction thereof, to and including
$50,000.
$50,001 to $100,000 . . . . . . $414.50 for the first $50,000 plus $4.50
for each additional thousand or
fraction thereof, to and including
$100,000.
$100,001 to $500,000 . . . . . . . $639.50 for the first $100,000 plus

Swimming Pools
For new private, residential, in- ground swimming
pools for single- family and multi - family occupancies,
including a complete system of necessary branch
circuit wiring, bonding, grounding, underwater
lighting, water pumping, and other similar electrical
equipment directly related to the operation of a

Miscellaneous Appartus, Conduits, and Conductors
For electrical apparatus, conduits, and
conductors for which a permit is required
but for which no fee is herein set forth $ 7.50
NOTE: This fee is not applicable when a
fee is paid for one or more services,
outlets, fixtures, appliances,
power apparatus, busways, signs, or
other equipment.
FURTHER RESOLVED, this Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 1976 -52.

the Town of Los Gatos held on the 4th day of August, 1986, by the following
