RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RESOLUTION ON PARKING REGULATION
CONCERNING STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING PROHIBITED.
WHEREAS, the Town Council prohibited stopping, standing or parking of a
motor vehicle between the hours of 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Sundays and Town Holidays
along both sides of North Santa Cruz Avenue between West Main Street and Bachman
Avenue in Resolution No. 1986-35 on [larch 17, 1986,
AND, the current regulations do not adequately address the parking problem
which exists on North Santa Cruz Avenue after 7:00 PM,
THEREFORE, the Town Council is now desirous of amending the hours of
regulation to end at 9.00 PM.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that pursuant to the Los Gatos Town Code, Section
16-47, "Parking Regulations", the Town Council of Los Gatos does hereby establish
the following traffic regulations:
STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING PROHIBITED
Stopping, standing, or parking of a motor vehicle between the hours of 2:00
PM and 9:00 PM on SUNDAYS AND TOWN HOLIDAYS is hereby prohibited along both sides of
North Santa Cruz Avenue between West Main Street and Bachman Avenue.
Portions of any resolutions previously adopted that are in conflict
therewith are hereby rescinded.
The Director of Parks, Forestry and Maintenance Services is hereby
instructed to install appropriate signs and/or curb markings giving notice to the
public of this action.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 7th ay of July
