A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTINUATION OF FUNDING FOR
TOWN SERVICES AT THE 1985 -86 AUTHORIZATION LEVEL
PENDING BUDGET HEARING ON JULY 7, 1986
WHEREAS, Section 2 -20 (f) of the Los Gatos Town Code requires the Manager to
annually prepare and submit a budget to the Town Council and be responsible for
its administration and;
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has distributed a proposed budget for the 1986 -87 fiscal
year to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council will consider and review said proposed budget during
a public hearing to be held on July 7, 1986; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide authorization for funding for the period
between July 1, 1986, and July 7, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the existing budget at the same authorized service level will continue
until a new budget is adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town
Council hereby adoptes as the budget for the Town of Los Gatos the schedule
entitled "Summary of Appropriations ", attached hereto, which authorizes a
continuation of funding for Town Services at the 1985 -86 Authorization Level
pending the Budget Hearing on July 7, 1986.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 16th day of June, 1986, by the following vote:
