RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
NADINE P. LEVIN - ASSISTANT TOWN MANAGER
WHEREAS,
NADINE P. LEVIN has served the Town of Los Gatos as the
Assistant Town Manager from October 12, 1981 through June 30,
1985 and January 1, 1986 through April 18, 1986; and
WHEREAS,
NADINE P. LEVIN has also served the Town of Los Gatos as the
Acting Town Manager from July 1, 1985 through December 31,
1985; and
WHEREAS,
NADINE provided during this period outstanding professionalism
and good analytical abilities to the Town Council, Town Staff,
Town Planning Commission, and other Town committees and
commissions; and
WHEREAS,
NADINE'S tenure with the Town of Los Gatos included work on the
Joint Powers Agreement and rate review with Green Valley
Disposal; negotiations and administration of franchise contract
with Hearst Cablevision; participation in the administration of
the Town Employee Association, Police Officers Association, and
AFSCME's Memorandum of Understandings; and participation in the
development of the Town of Los Gatos budget; and
WHEREAS,
NADINE had responsibility for the recruitment of employees;
development of the Comparable Worth Study; and managed the
Community Services Department; and
WHEREAS,
NADINE has now decided to pursue an opportunity in the private
sector; and the Town Council feels that such outstanding public
service deserves recognition.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
that NADINE P. LEVIN be commended for her many contributions and for her
dedicated and loyal service to the Town of Los Gatos.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos extends
to NADINE P. LEVIN its gratitude for a ,fob well done and wishes her well in
all future endeavors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE T014N OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA,
at a regular meeting held this 21st day of April, 1986, by the following
vote:
