1986-049-Denying Appeal Of Building Official Decision Concerning Housing Code Correction Required For Approval Of Secondary Dwelling UnitRESOLUTION N0, 1986 -49 RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF BUILDING OFFICIAL DECISION CONCERNING HOUSING CODE CORRECTION REQUIRED FOR APPROVAL OF SECONDARY DWELLING UNIT (16759 -A Frank Avenue -- John Blackburn) WHEREAS: 1. John Blackburn appealed a portion of the decision of the Building Official concerning corrections necessary to make the secondary dwelling unit at 16759 -A Frank Avenue comply with the Uniform Housing Code as follows: bathroom lavatory is required in the bathroom; 2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on April 7, 1986; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. The Town Council hereby finds that compliance with the requirement of a sink in the bathroom separate from the sink where food is prepared is necessary for the preservation of health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants of secondary dwelling units and of the community. 2. Based on the foregoing findings, the appeal is denied. Pursuant to Los Gatos Town Code Section 1 -15, the time for seeking judicial review for the Town Council decision is governed by California Code of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6.
