RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF BUILDING
OFFICIAL DECISION CONCERNING HOUSING
CODE CORRECTION REQUIRED FOR APPROVAL
OF SECONDARY DWELLING UNIT
(269 Los Gatos Boulevard -- Joanne Wilson)
WHEREAS:
1. Joanne Wilson appealed a portion of the decision of the Building
Official concerning corrections necessary to make the secondary dwelling
unit at 269 Los Gatos Boulevard comply with the Uniform Housing Code as
follows: bathroom lavatory is required in the bathroom.
2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on April 7, 1986.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that compliance with the requirement
of a sink in the bathroom separate from the sink where food is prepared
is necessary for the preservation of health, safety and general welfare
of the inhabitants of secondary dwelling units and of the community.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the appeal is denied.
Pursuant to Los Gatos Town Code Section 1 -15, the time for seeking
judicial review for the Town Council decision is governed by California
Code of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6.
