RESOLUTION REFERRING TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
THE APPEAL OF THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION DENYING ARCHITECTURE AND SITE
APPLICATION REQUESTING APPROVAL OF PLANS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE IN THE
HR 2 -1/2 ZONE
(121 Madera Court -- Wm. J. Del Carlo)
WHEREAS:
1. Applicant Wm. J. Del Carlo has appealed a decision of the
Planning Commission as follows: denial of Architecture and Site
Application S -84 -62 requesting approval of plans for construction
of a single family residence HR 2 -1/2 Zone at 121 Madera Court;
and,
2. A public hearing was held by the Council on February 18, 1986;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that the matter should be
referred to the Planning Commission with review by the Development
Review Committee for a redesign to fit into the site without
unnecessary visibility based on the following considerations:
a. decrease building footprint;
b. keep height of building to 22 feet; and
c. design building with smooth roofline.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the appeal is referred to the
Planning Commission with review by the Development Review Committee
in accordance with Council direction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 3rd day of March 1 1986
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS Eric D. Carlson,
Thomas J. Ferrito, Brent N. Ventura,
and Mayor Terrence J. Daily
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS None
ABSTAIN: COUNCILMEMBERS Joanne Benjamin
