1985-176-Establishing Compensation For The Non-Elected Duties Of Town ClerkRESOLUTION NO. 1985 -176 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR THE NON- ELECTED DUTIES OF TOWN CLERK WHEREAS: Section 2 -10.1 of the Town Code provides that the Town Council conduct an annual review of the performance and salary of the Town Clerk; and WHEREAS: That same Town Code Section provides that the Council shall establish compensation for the Town Clerk upon completion of the evaluation; and WHEREAS: The Town Council has completed that evaluation; and WHEREAS: The Town Council desires to set the compensation for elected duties separately from the compensation for non - elected duties of the Town Clerk; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: The annual salary for the Town Clerk, effective July 1, 1985, continue to be $15,000 for elected duties plus the additional amount of $21,330 for non - elected duties and that the Town shall contribute seven (7) percent of the clerk's total salary to the Town Retirement Plan as the "employee -paid contribution "; and IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED: That any other compensation in effect June participation in the Town Retirement Plan, at those levels through the balance of the except that the automobile allowance shall the management compensation plan and the a of the clerk for a total of $200.00. 30, 1985, including shall remain in force fiscal year 1985 -86 be the difference between llowance for elected duties PASSED AND ADOPTED at a reqular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 16th day of December , 1985 by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Thomas J.
