RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND THE COUNTY
OF SANTA CLARA FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE KNOWLES DRIVE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that the TOWN OF LOS GATOS enter into an
agreement entitled, "AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND THE DISTRICT,"
a copy of which is attached hereto, and that the Mayor is authorized, and he is
hereby directed, to execute said agreement in the name and in behalf of the
TOWN OF LOS GATOS.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the town of Los Gatos held on the 16th day of December
1985, by the followinq vote:

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND THE COUNTY OF
SANTA CLARA FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE KNOWLES
DRIVE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
This agreement is made and entered into, effective on the last date this
document is signed by the parties hereto, by and between the TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter;'referred to as "TOWN ", and the COUNTY OF
SANTA CLARA, hereinafter called "COUNTY ".
WHEREAS, COUNTY owns land shown as Parcel "B" and Parcel "C" on Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto; and -
WHEREAS, TOWN included in the�Knowles Drive Asses sment District project
street, drainage and utility work that benefits Parcels B and C; and
WHEREAS, TOWN awarded and adm7nistered the construction contract for
PROJECT, and inspected the work; and'
WHEREAS, TOWN has accepted the work and made a final accounting of the
cost of the work, based on actual quI6ntities of work completed and accepted,
which is attached as enclosures;
THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS HOLLOWS:
1. TOWN will provide COUNTY with copies of the plans, specifications
and contract documents for PROJECT.
2. TOWN will provide COUNTY with an opportunity to inspect the work,
to insure conformity with the Plans and Specificaitons.
3. COUNTY will pay TOWN the cost of the street, drainage and utility
improvements that benefit Parcels B and C in the amount.of
Forty -seven thousand Six Hundred ninety -eight dollars
($47,698.00), as shown on Enclosures 1 and 2.
