A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE ACTING TOWN MANAGER TO SIGN THE ANNUAL
EXTENSION RIDER OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN
AND GREYHOUND LINES, INCORPORATED
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does
hereby authorize the Acting Town Manager to sign the annual Extension Rider of the
Lease Agreement with Greyhound Lines, Incorporated releasing Greyhound Lines,
Incorporated from all obligations under the lease arising after April 30, 1986.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on 19th day of August, 1985 by the following vote:

EXTENSION RIDER
To be attached to "Agreement" between TOWN OF LOS GATOS ( "LESSOR ") and GREYHOUND
LINES, INCORPORATED ( "LESSEE ").

IT IS HEREBY AGREED by the parties to the Agreement that the term thereof is
extended through April 30, 1986, and that all the terms and conditions thereof, as
amended or supplemented heretofore or herein (if any special provisions are written
below) shall remain in full force and effect during the extended term. The
Agreement shall be subject to termination prior to the expiration of the extended
term in the same manner as is provided therein for termination of the prior term.
Special Provisions
1. Rent for the term commencing May 1, 1985 and ending April 30, 1986 shall be
at an annual rate of $5,700 payable monthly in the amount of $475.00.
2. Lessee shall have the right to extend this Lease for five consecutive one
year terms on the same terms and conditions, except for rent, which will be
adjusted annually by any change in the Consumer Price Index, limited to 6 %,
provided that the Town's operating cost associated with the bus station are
recovered,by giving Lessor at least 60 days prior written notice.
