RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF PARKING PERMITS
TO RESIDENTS LIVING OUTSIDE A PERMIT PARKING ZONE
WHEREAS, the Town Council has adopted Resolutions 1983 -76 and 1985 -7
establishing Permit Parking zones in the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, said resolutions entitle residents living within permit parking zones
to parking permits; and
WHEREAS, hardships may exist if some residents living close to, but outside,
permit parking zones are not issued parking permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF LOS GATOS RESOLVES:
1. The Town Clerk is authorized to issue parking permits to residents living
within 100 feet of a permit parking zone when the Town Manager or his
designate certifies in writing that a significant hardship will result if a
parking permit is not issued to such resident.
2. For the purpose of determining such hardship the Town Manager or his
designate shall consider the following:
a. The availability of parking on the applicant's property.
b. The availability of unregulated on- street parking in the vicinity of
applicant's property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on 3 day of June 19_P by the

Ferrito, Brent N. Ventura, and Mayor Joanne Benjamin
