A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ADOPTING AND
APPROVING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
FOR THE PARKING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Town of Los Gatos Resolution No. 1984-144 established the
Town Council as the Parking Authority for the Town of Los Gatos;
WHLREAS, Government Code Section 873OU requires that every local
government agency adopt and promulgate a conflict of interest code
pursuant to Article 3 of Chapter 7 of Title 9 of the Government Code;
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 87303 provides that each local
government agency submit a proposed conflict of interest code to the
code-reviewing body which, for the Parking Authority, is the Town Council
pursuant to Government Code Section 82U11(c); and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 87303 provides that Town Council
approval of the conflict of interest code of the Parking Authority is
deemed to be the adoption of the conflict of interest code of the Parking
Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS:
The Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos hereby adopts
Article VI of Chapter 2 of the Town Code, as applicable to the
members of the Parking Authority, as its conflict of interest
code. A copy of Article VI is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated by reference herein.
2. Filing of a conflict of interest statement pursuant to
Article VI of Cnapter 2 of the Town Code shall be deemed
to be filing of a conflict of interest statement for the
Parking Authority;
3. The Town Council hereby approves the conflict of interest
code adopted by the Parking Authority. A copy of this
resolution skall be filed with the Town Clerk and shall
constitute the conflict of interest code of the Parking
Authority.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of tin Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 18th day Of --March 1985 by the
following vote:
