A RESOLUTION COMMENDING GERALD E. RIDLEY
WHEREAS, Gerald E. Ridley served as a member of the Planning Commission
since September 19, 1983; and
WHEREAS, during this period he unselfishly contributed his time, energies
and capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Ridley assisted the Planning Commission in
the following major studies and projects:
a. The General Plan Review,
b. The Hillside Specific Plan Review,
C. Zoning Ordinance amendments covering: Storage of hazardous materials;
tree protection; definition of restaurants; and floor area ratio,
d. Served on the General Plan Committee,
e. Served on the Policies and Procedures Committee,
f. Served on the Hazardous Materials Comittee,
g. Served on the Environmental Consultants Interview Committee and
h. Served on the Ad Hoc Committee on Fees and Conditional Use Permits.
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Gerald E.
Ridley for his service to the Town and its citizens as a member of the Planning
Com mi ssi on.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at
a regular meeting held this 19th day of November
