A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR
THE POSITION OF TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, Section 2 -10.1 of the Town Code provides that the Town Council
is conducting an annual review of the performance and salary of
the Town Clerk; and
WHEREAS, that same Town Code section provides that the Council shall
establish compensation for the Town Clerk upon completion of
the evaluation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has completed that evaluation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the annual salary for the Town Clerk,
effective July 1, 1984, shall be $34,750.00 and that the Town shall con-
tribute seven (7%) percent of the Clerk's salary to the Town Retirement
Plan as the "employee -paid contribution "; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any other compensation in effect June 30,
1984, shall remain in force at those levels through the balance of fiscal
year 1984 -85.
