A RESOLUTION COMMENDING REX J. BURBANK
WHEREAS, Rex J. Burbank served as a member of the Planning Commission since
July 19, 1982; and
WHEREAS, during this period he unselfishly contributed his time, enorgies
and capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and
NH EREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Burbank assisted the Planning Commission in
the following major studies and projects:
a. The General Plan Review,
b. Hillside Specific Plan Review, including service as chairman of the
Hillside Specific Plan Review Committee,
C. Zoning Ordinance amendments covering: signs in the CM zone, storage
of hazardous materials, clubs, lodges and fraternal organizations,
tree protection, definition of restaurants, floor area ratio and
Landmark and Historic Preservation Zone,
d. Served on the Trails Committee,
e. Served as Chairman of the Hillside Standards Committee,
f. Served as Chairman of the Hillside Sub -areas 1 and 2 Committee;
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
NOLI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Rex J.
Burbank for his service to the Town and its citizens as a member of the
Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at
