A RESOLUTION EXEMPTING CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES FROM
TOWN'S SELF- INSURED WORKERS' COMPENSATION FUND
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has had a self- insured Workers' Compen-
sation Fund since 1977; and
WHEREAS, the Town receives periodically Federal and State grant funds
and hires employees with such funds; and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to exempt employees hired with grant funds
from the self- insured Workers' Compensation Fund and secure private insurance
for said class of employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL hereby resolves to exempt grant- funded
employees from the Town's self - insured Workers' Compensation Fund and secure
private insurance therefor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS at
a regular meeting held this 15th day of October
1984, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Eric D.
Carlson, Terrence J. Daily, Brent N. Ventura
and Mayor Thomas J. Ferrito
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS None
