RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO RETAIN
DARYL D. JONES FOR TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING
TO DIRECT INSTALLATION OF THE TOWN EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
CENTER IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FACILITY
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has
approved the installation of an emergency communications center
in the Los Gatos Police Department facility;
WHEREAS, the plans to establish a dispatch center in the
Police Department facility include retention of a consultant
to provide technical and engineering services for the development
of equipment specifications, direct the installation, testing
and interfacing of communications, E 9 -1 -1 telephone and other
support equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Council of Los Gatos hereby
resolves that the Town Manager is authorized to execute an
agreement with Daryl D. Jones on behalf of the Town of Los
Gatos for technical and engineering consultation of the
construction of an emergency communications center in the Police
Department facility.
