A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE LOS GATOS
LITTLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT TEAM
WHEREAS, the 1984 Little League baseball season saw the Los Gatos Little
League Tournament Team bring home a series of victories unsur-
passed in Los Gatos Little League's long history of achievement;
and
WHEREAS, the members of Los Gatos Little League Tournament Team and their
coaches, Tony Borgese and Dr. Leo Berk, led Los Gatos to a season
of seventeen (17) wins during this 1984 season; and
WHEREAS, 1984 saw the Los Gatos team win not only the District 12 Tournament
but also the Section 3 Tournament, the Division 1 Tournament, and
the Western Regional Tournament in Hawaii, winning a berth in the
Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, scheduled
to start on Tuesday, August 21, 1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS does hereby con-
gratulate:

sible for the victories which the LOS GATOS LITTLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT TEAM has
brought to the entire community -- those parents, friends, and family members
who gave so unselfishly of their time and support -- the Town's genuine pride
and appreciation for an outstanding job.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, California, at
a regular meeting held this 20th day of August 1984, by the follow-
