A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING
THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND
CAUSES OF ACTION AGAINST THIRD PARTIES WITH RECOM-
MENDATION OF THE TOWN ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos from time to time is required to
execute a written release of claims and causes of action against third parties
in order to receive compensation from parties responsible for causing damage
to Town property or injury to Town officers, employees or agents; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager is the administrative head of Town govern-
ment pursuant to Town Code Section 2 -20;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS that with the recommendation of the Town Attorney, the Town Manager,
or his designate, is hereby authorized to execute a release of claims and
causes of action against third parties.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 2nd day of July 1984 by the
following vote:
