RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 1984 -22 TO CORRECT THE REQUEST FOR CONSOLIDATION OF
THE ELECTION ON THE BLOSSOM HILL MANOR ISLAND ANNEXATION
WITH THE PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY
JUNE 5, 1984
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos:
Section 1_
On February 21, 1984 the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos adopted
Resolution No. 1984 -19 calling a special election to be held on June 5, 1984
for the purpose of submitting to the electors within the Blossom Hill Manor
Island annexation area the measure which is hereinafter set forth in this
resolution.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 23302 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
requests the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, California
to consolidate the special election with the Primary Election which is to
be held in Santa Clara County on Tuesday, June 5, 1984.
The election precincts, polling places, voting booths and election
officers for the above - mentioned special election shall be the same as
those provided for the above - mentioned Primary Election, in the Town of
Los Gatos.
The Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County is requested to consol-
idate said election and to provide that the canvass be made by any body or
official authorized by law to canvass the returns of the election and this
governing body consents to such consolidation.
Pursuant to Section 10219 of the Elections Code of the State of
California, the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos and the Clerk of the
County of Santa Clara are hereby authorized to agree to use, and to use, a
letter designation for the ballot measure that will not conflict with any
other measures or confuse the voters.
The Town Clerk is ordered to give such notice of said election, and of
the hereinafter specified measure, as is required by law, and to do all
other things required by law to hold the special election above provided,
and to submit the measure in this resolution to the electors.of the Blossom
Hill Manor Island annexation area at the election.
Section 2.
The Town. Council of the Town of Los Gatos orders and directs that the
following measure be submitted to the electors of the Blossom Hill Manor
Island annexation area for their approval or disapproval at the special
election, specified in Section 1 of this resolution, which is to be held on
June 5, 1984:
"Shall the order adopted on February 21, 1984 by
the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos ordering
the annexation to said Town of the territory
described in said order and designated as Blossom
Hill Manor Island be confirmed ?"

All other provisions of Resolution No. 1984 -19 relating to the special
municipal election of the Town of Los Gatos and the measure to be submitted
to the electors of the Town of Los Gatos shall remain in effect.
The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the
adoption of this resolution and to transmit a certified copy to the Board of
Supervisors of the County and to the Registrar of Voters of the County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos this 2nd day of April, 1984 by the following votes:
