A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MARLYN J. RASMUSSEN
WHEREAS, MARLYN J. RASMUSSEN has served the Town of Los Gatos as a member
of the Town Council from April 1980 to September, 1983; and
WHEREAS, MARLYN served with distinction as Vice -Mayor of the Town from
April 1982 to the present; and
WHEREAS, MARLYN's term of office was notable for her unerring sense of
purpose, humor, dignity, and responsibility to the Town's
electorate; and
WHEREAS, this period of outstanding service has come to a close with
MARLYN's recent resignation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos does hereby commend MARLYN J. RASMUSSEN for her signifi-
cant contributions to Town Government over the past three and a
half years; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council does hereby extend to MARLYN
its sincere hope that she will continue to participate actively
in those many civic affairs in which she has played so important
a role in the past.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA,
at a regular meeting held this 17th day of October
1983, by the following vote:
