A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS LOS GATOS BOULEVARD NO. 9
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1983, the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of Santa Clara, State of California, pursuant to a petition signed
by all the owners of land within the territory to be annexed, approved the an-
nexation of that hereinafter described area, designated as to the Town of Los
Gatos and, by their Resolution No. 1933 -49, directed the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos to initiate proceedings to annex said territory without
notice, hearing, or election, in the manner described in Section 35221 of the
Government Code of the State of California, and made the following findings:
1. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA Class #15119(a).
2. The territory is "Uninhabited" as defined in Section 35038 of the Gov-
ernment Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the findings of the Local Agency For-
mation Commission in Resolution 83 -29 are correct, and the territory proposed
for annexation is situated in the unincorporated area of the County of Santa
Clara, and is contiguous with the municipal boundaries of the Town of Los
Gatos.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal corpo-
ration of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to the
provisions of Sections 35151, 35221, and 35234 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the annexation to the Town of Los Gatos of that territory
designated as Los Gatos Boulevard No. 9, and described in real property de-
scription and map attached hereto, marked Exhibits "A" and "B ", respectively,
is approved, and that the same be annexed to the Town of Los Gatos.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of these annexation proceedings the
territory annexed will be taxed in Town of Los Gatos Tax Rate A, including tax-
es for existing bonded indebtedness.
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed,
pursuant to Section 35350 of the Government Code, to prepare under seal a certified
copy of this resolution, giving the date of passage, and immediately transmit same
along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section 54902.5 of the Govern-
ment Code to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of Santa
Clara County.

All that real property situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of that certain intersec-
tion to the Town of Los Gatos entitled "Burton Road #111; said
point also being located on the monument line of Los Gatos
Boulevard (formerly South Bascom Avenue) as shown on that certain
Record of Survey of a monument line of South Bascom Avenue from
Union Avenue to Lark Avenue in the County of Santa Clara as re-
corded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Santa Clara in Book 264 of Maps at Pages 49 through 54; said
point also being located on the Northwesterly most line of that
certain annexation to the Town of Los Gatos entitled "National
Avenue Annexation #2 "; thence South 31° 23" West, 253.64 feet to
the northwesterly corner of that certain annexation to the Town
of Los Gatos entitled "National Avenue No. 311; thence along the
northwesterly line of said annexation, and continuing along said
monument line, 7' more or less; thence North 580 35' 50" West,
438.29 feet; thence Northeasterly 100 feet more or less; thence
South 580 35' 15" East, 395.54 feet, to a point of on the
Northwesterly right -of -way line of Los Gatos Boulevard; thence
North 310 23' East 160.64 feet to an angle point of said "Burton
Road No. 1" annexation; thence along the Southwesterly line of
said annexation South 58° 35' 40" East, 43' more or less to the
point of beginning.
Containing 1.17 acres more or less.
