A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A
COST SERVICE CONTRACT AGREE-
MENT WITH THE STATE PERSONNEL
BOARD.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town of Los Gatos enter
into that agreement entitled "COST SERVICE CONTRACT AGREEMENT" with the
State Personnel Board, for the provision of technical personnel services
requiring the use of written examinations developed and validated by the
Board for a three -year period commencing July 1, 1983 and terminating
June 30, 1986; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Manager, DAVID R. MORA, is
authorized and is hereby directed to execute said agreement in the name
and in behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.

authorized representative, hereinafter called the Board, and the

That the parties, for and in consideration of the convenants„ conditions,
agreements, and s0pulations expressed, and pursuant to authority contained
in Section 18707a Government Code, hereby agree to the conditions as found
in attached "Cost `~wife; Contract du, and Procedures" marked as Exhibit A
and "Written Examination Price List" marked as Exhibit H which are incorporated
herein by reference and made a part hereof. Exhibit S amy be ar nded by the
Board from time to time without renegotiating the contract.
Further, the parties agree that he Board shall, as a normal course of
action, submit invoices covering tho `= services rendered during a calendar
month and the Local Agency agrees to day such invoices within thirty days
following receipt thereof.
The provisions of the attached Fair Employment Practices Addendum, Standard
Form 3 (8/77), are incorporated by reference and made a part of this contract.
The term of the contract commences and terminates

upon giving the other party 30 days written once of termination.
In the event of termination, the Board will he paid saaeh amount as is
