A RESOLUTION APPROVING RATE ADJUSTMENTS FOR
THE GREEN VALLEY DISPOSAL COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has contracted with the Green Valley Dis-
posal Company for, the collection of garbage and rubbish in Town,
pursuant to Section 14 -2 of the Town Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 14 -5 of the Town Code provides that the Town Council
shall determine from time to tine the charges to be made to Town
residents for the collection of garbage and rubbish; and
WHEREAS, Green Valley Disposal Company has requested that the Town Council
approve a rate adjustment for their charges for garbage and refuse
collection services in the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, Council has selected the Variable Can collection option and has
found the corresponding rates to e warranted and necessary for
the Company to maintain efficient and effective operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos hereby grants rate adjustments for residential and commercial cus-
tomers as shown in the attached Exhibit A; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution will become effective on
March 7, 1983.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA,
at a regular Meting held this 22nd day of February ,
7983, by the following vote:
