RESOLUTION NO. 1983 -34
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING
MARCH 7 ARBOR DAY
M-EEREAS, March 7 is Arbor Day in California; and
WHEREAS, The residents of the Town of Los Gatos are proud of their
street, park, and home garden trees; and
WHEREAS, The residents recognize the importance of proper tree care,
and appreciate the contribution of trees to a cleaner and
healthier environment
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council does proclaim
March 7, "ARBOR DAY"
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council urges all residents to
observe this day by recognizing the importance trees
have in enhancing our lives.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting held this
22nd day of February , 1983,, by the following vote:
