A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE SAN BENITO AVENUE AND ANDREWS STREET
TRAFFIC DIVERTER PLAN AND IMPLEMENTING ONE -WAY STREET,
FOUR -WAY STOP AND LEFT TURN PROHIBITION REGULATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
(1) Resolution No. 1982 -190, adopted by the Town Council October 25, 1982 is
hereby rescinded.
(2) That pursuant to the Los Gatos Town Code, Section 16 -34 "One -Way Strets and
Alleys," the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby establish the
following traffic regulations:
One -way traffic is hereby designated northbound on Monterey Avenue
between Saratoga Avenue and Andrews street.
(3) That pursuant to the Los Gatos Town Code, Section 16 -29, "Stop
Intersections and Through Streets," the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does
hereby:
Establish a four -way vehicular stop at the intersection of Andrews
Street and San Benito Avenue.
(4) That pursuant to the Los Gatos Town Code, Section 16 -31, "Turning Movements
- Placement of Restricted Turn Signs" and Section 16 -32, "Turning Movements -
Obedience to Restricted Turn Signs," the following intersection is designated as one
at which turns for vehicles are restricted at the prescribed entrances thereto:
EASTBOUND TRAFFIC ON SARATOGA AVENUE SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TURN
LEFT ONTO MONTEREY AVENUE
Portion of any resolutions previously adopted that are in conflict therewith are
hereby rescinded.
The Director of Parks, Forestry and Maintenance Services is hereby instructed to
install appropriate signs and pavement markings giving notice of the public of this
action.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos held on the 22nd day of February, 1983 by the following vote:
