A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
BRADLEY CLARK JENKINS
WHEREAS, BRADLEY CLARK JENKINS of 18480 Bicknell Road is currently an Eighth
Grade Student at Rolling Hills Junior High School in Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, Bradley has been a member of Los Gatos Boy Scouts of America Troop
No. 562, Santa Clara County Council, since 1979; and
WHEREAS, as a member of Troop 562 Bradley has earned his Eagle Scout Award
at the age of 14 by documenting the tombstone inscriptions of Madronia
Cemetery in Saratoga and publishing his findings in a book entitled
" Madronia Cemetery Tombstone Inscriptions, Saratoga, Santa Clara
County, California," a unique project containing 170 pages of inscrip-
tions, a surname index, and a comprehensive history of the cemetery;
and
WHEREAS, as a member of Troop 562 Bradley has earned over 50 merit badges,
where only eleven are required to become an Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, Bradley will be honored at a special Eagle Scout Court of Honor at
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints on the night of
December 28, 1982;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
that BRADLEY CLARK JENKINS be commended for his outstanding service and dedi-
cation to this community effort, and that he be congratulated for his attainment
of the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop No. 562 of the Boy Scouts of America.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA, at
a regular meeting held this 6th day of December 1982, by
