A RESOLUTION COMMENDING PETER W. SIEMENS
WHEREAS, PETER W. SIEMENS has served the Town of Los Gatos for over five
years in key positions in Town Government; and
WHEREAS, PETE served initially as a member of the Los Gatos Planning Commission
from May 1977 to April 1978; and
WHEREAS, PETE ran successfully for office as a member of the Town Council in
the spring of 1978; and
WHEREAS, PETE served with distinction as Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos in
1981 -82; and
WHEREAS, PETE provided valuable input to such Bay Area committees as the
Association of Bay Area Governments, the County Transit Committee,
Sanitation District No. 4, the Inter -City Council, the County
Transportation Policy Commission, Live Oak Nutrition Board, the
Santa Clara County Planning Policy Committee, and the Intergovern-
mental Council; and
WHEREAS, PETE has chosen to relinquish his seat on the Los Gatos Town Council
at the end of his current term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
that PETER W. SIEMENS be commended for his outstanding public service; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council does hereby render, with deep
appreciation, special recognition and thanks to PETER W. SIEMENS for his
generous contribution of selfless public service to the Town of Los Gatos and
its citizens.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting held this 15th — day of November
1982, by the following vote:
