RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING THE LOS GATOS DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN
WHEREAS, (1) under the provisions of Government Code section 65503, the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a public hearing for consideration of
amending the Los Gatos Downtown Specific Plan, in sessions held on October 4 and
Octoer 25, 1982.
(2) under Government Code section 65504, the Town Council referred
several amendments to the Planning Commission for report and has received a
written report dated September 28, 1982 from the Planning Commission.
(3) under the provisions of Government Code section 65500, the Town
Planning Commission had previously conducted a public hearing concerning the
amendment of the Los Gatos Downtown Specific Plan, and on September 22, 1982
recommended that the Town Council amend the plan.
(3) during its hearing the Town Council considered all of the
matters shown in Resolution No. 82 -5 of the Town Planning Commission.
RESOLVED: (1) The Town Council finds that the Los Gatos Downtown Specific
Plan amendment as recommended by the Planning Commission on September 22, 1982,
(a) meets the requirements for a specific plan, (b) is consistent with the Town
General Plan, and (c) that all proceedings have been conducted in compliance with
the provisions of Government Code section 65500 through 65504.
(2) the Los Gatos Downtown Specific Plan is hereby amended, as
follows: a. The Land Use Plan Figure II -1 as shown on the attached Exhibits A -D.
b. Recommended Zone Changes Figure II -2 as shown on the attached
Exhibits E -L.

an regular meeting held this 25th day
of October 1982, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Thomas J. Ferrito, Marlyn J.
Rasmussen, Peter W. Siemens and Mayor Brent N. Ventura
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
