bVHEREAS, it is the intention of the Tonm Council of the Town of Los Gatos
to PURCH SE 0'vT ND 1983 FOUR -DOOR SEIIAX AUTOMOBILE FOR POLICE: PATROL USE in
the Town of Los Gatos; and
HEREAS, the Town Engineer has presented Specifications for the PURCHASE
OF ONE N'E1V 1983 FOUR -DOOR SEDAN; AUTQ`DBILE FOR POLICE PATROL USE
RESOLVED, that these Specifications entitled 11TOWN OF LOS GATOS
SPECIFIC, "VFIONS - THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW 1983 FOUR -DOOR SEDAN AUTOV1OBILE FOR
POLICE PATROL USE ", dated August 20, 1982, on file in the Office of the Town
Cleric, are hereby approved; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise, as required by law, for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals
for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid Specifications, which
said advertisement shall be substantially in accordance with the Notice to
Bidders, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on thel3th day of September, 1982, by the following vote:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Clerk
of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
in the Office of the Town Clerk, 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos,
California 95030, until 3:00 P.M., October 7, 1982 for the purchase
from the successful bidder of:
THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW 1983 FOUR -DOOR
SEDAN AUTOMOBTLE FOR POLICE PATROL USE
All bids shall be made on Bid Forms provided by the Town of Los Gatos.
No bid shall be considered which is not received by the Town Clerk
prior to the time and date above designated. The Town of Los Gatos
shall have a period of sixty (60) days within which to accept any
bids, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and
to waive any irregularities or informalities in said bids or in the
bidding process or procedures. The Town Council shall be the sole
judge of whether any bid for any vehicle which may not ccfrply with all
of the specifications satisfies the requirement of substantial canpliance.
Copies of the required Bid Forms, Notice to Bidders, Information for
Bidders, and Specifications may be secured from the Public works Engineer-
ing Department, 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, California, any time prior
to the date and time for receipt of bids set forth in this notice.
