RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS WEEK
WHEREAS, public works services are an inteo_ral na-rt of
our everyday lives; and
WHEREAS, the support of an understanding_ and informed
citizenry is vital to the efficient operation of public works
systems and programs such as water, sewers, streets and high-
ways, and public buildings; and
WHEREAS, the health, safety and comfort of this community
greatly depends on these facilities and services.
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
does hereby proclaim May 23 -29, 1982 as NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS
WEEK in Los Gatos, and calls upon all citizens to recognize and
support the Town's public works programs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 17th day of Map, 1982, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Thomas J. Ferrito,
N. Ventura and Peter W. Siemens
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS
