RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION
AS THEY APPLY UNDER SECTION 24.40.050 OF THE TOWN CODE TO ALLOW (1) APPOINT -
M IT OF ARBITRATORS FROM A PANEL, SELECTED BY THE TOWN MANAGER,
AND (2) ALLOWING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF TiiE ORDINANCE TO ASSIGN THE
SAME ARBITRATOR TO A SUBSEQUENT ARBITRATION LniVOLVING IDENTICAL ISSUES
TO A CASE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN ARBITRATED.
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos hereby RESOLVES, pursuant to Section
24.40.050 of the Town Code, that the rules of the American Arbitration Association
shall be modified as applied under Chapter 24 of the Town Code as follows:
1. Arbitrators need not be appointed from a national panel, but shall
instead be appointed from a panel selected by the Town.
2. The Administrator of the ordinance may, if it determines that a
requested arbitration involves issues that are identical to those involved in an
earlier arbitration, assign the same arbitrator that handled the first arbitration.
PASSED and adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on the 5th day of April , 1982, by the
following votes:
