A _RESOLUTION C0ISAENDING ORANGE CRUSH
WHEREAS, the 1981 -82 basketball season saw the Los Gatos High School Girls' team
-- the ORANGE CRUSH -- bring home a series of victories unexcelled in
Los Gatos High's long history of outstanding achievement in the field
of athletics; and
WHEREAS, the members of ORANGE CRUSH and their Coach, JOHN '.AACKEY, led Los Gatos
to a season of excitement and celebration through their series of -triumphs
from early fall to early spring; and
WHEREAS, dedication to achieving their principal goal -- the Central Coast
Section Championship -- saw ORANGE CRUSH, with a 21, -0 regular season
record, win not only their first CGS crown but also the Northern
California Championship and a berth in the State Championship Playoffs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS does hereby congratulate:
