A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS REQUESTING
CONSOLIDATION AND THE PLACING OF AN ADDITIONAL MEASURE ON THE
JUNE 8, 1982 BALLOT
WHEREAS, the Town has already requested consolidation and the place-
ment of an Advisory Measure;
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk is enjoined by law to take all steps necessary
for holding said election;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos wishes to present the voters with the following additional measure:
MEASURE TO RE VOTED ON
''Shall the Town, pursuant to Article 34 of the
California State Constitution enter into an agree-
ment that would provide for the private construction
of federally subsidized exclusively senior and handi-
capped housing units on the Villa Vasona site, bound-
ed by Knowles Drive and Parr Avenue in the Town of
Los Gatos ?"

The Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County is requested to consolidate
said election and to provide that the canvass be made by any body or official
authorized by law to canvass the returns of the election and that this
governing body consents to such consolidation; and
The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and to transmit a certified copy to the Board of Supervisors
of the County and to the Registrar of Voters.
