1982-013-Opposing SB 426 Mandating Compulsory And Binding ArbitrationRESOLUTION NO. 1982 A RESOLUTION OPPOSING SB 426 MANDATING COMPULSORY AND BINDING ARBITRATION. WHEREAS, Senator Daniel Boatwright has introduced SB 426, which would provide for compulsory and binding arbitration for local governments; and WHEREAS, this legislation would remove decision - making authority from local elected officials; and WHEREAS, this legislation could have an adverse fiscal impact on local municipalities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council opposes SB 426; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be provided to all local Los Gatos representatives in the State Senate and State Legis- lature as an indication of the Town's opposition to SB 426. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, CALIFOR- NIA, at a regular meeting held this 18th day of January 1982, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Marlyn J.
