A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF THE PUBLIC STORM DRAIN EASEMENT WITHIN THE
LANDS OF LOS GATOS MEDICAL PARK (POLLARD ROAD
AND KNOWLES DRIVE)
RESOLVED:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate, under the
provisions of Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, (Sections 50430
through 50445) of the Government Code, a public storm drain
easement situated in the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, consisting of a strip of land
15 feet wide, located near the southeasterly boundary of the
Lands of Los Gatos Medical Park at the southwesterly corner
of the intersection of Pollard Road and Knowles Drive, and
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" ( "Description of
a Storm Drain Easement Abandonment Within the Lands of Los
Gatos Medical Park "), and Exhibit "B" ( "Plat to Accompany
Description for a Storm Drain Easement Abandonment within
the Lands of Los Gatos Medical Park "), copies of which are
attached hereto. Said Exhibits show the particulars as to
the proposed vacation, and are available for public inspec-
tion in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos,
Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
2. On November 16, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Civic
Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California, the Town
Council will hold a public hearing to consider whether or not
the easement is necessary for present or prospective public
use. The meeting will begin at 7 :30 P.M. All persons inter-
ested are invited to attend and be heard.

3. The Town Clerk is authorized and is hereby directed to publish
a copy of this resolution in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga
Observer, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the Town of Los Gatos, within (15) days after
the date of its adoption; and
4. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized and is hereby
directed to execute that document entitled, "Notice of Vacation
of a Portion of a Public Storm Drain Easement within the Lands
of Los Gatos Medical Park - Pollard Road and Knowles Drive, a
copy of which is attached hereto, and the Director of Public
Works is authorized and is hereby directed to conspicuously
post three (3) copies of said Notice, not more than 300 feet
apart, on at least ten (10) days before the date of the public
hearinq above desiqnated.

Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 26th da_v

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 26, 1981, the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, adopted Resolution No. 1981 -219 , entitled,
"A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC
STORM DRAIN EASEMENT WITHIN THE LANDS OF LOS GATOS MEDICAL PARK -
POLLARD ROAD AND KNOWLES DRIVE." A copy of said Resolution No.
=x-981 -219 , and a map entitled, "PLAT TO ACCOMPANY DESCRIPTION
FOR A STORM DRAIN EASEMENT ABANDONMENT WITHIN THE LANDS OF LOS
GATOS MEDICAL PARK ", showing the particulars as to the _proposed
vacation are on file in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town
of Los Gatos, Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, Cali-
fornia, and are available for inspection during regular business
hours.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on November 16, 1981, in the

on the question of whether or not the easement is necessary for
present or prospective public use. The Council meetina will begin
