A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN APPEAL FROM THE DECISION OF THE
TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Robert Hamilton has appealed a decision of the Town
Planning Commission to the Town Council, as follows:
Approval of use permit application U- 81 -21; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Council on
September 21, 1981;
BE IT RESOLVED:
The appeal is granted on the following grounds
1. The Planning Commission erred in not considering the
problem of excessive use of liquor in the downtown area.
2. The proposed use is not essential or desirable to the
public welfare.
3. The proposed use will impair the integrity and charac-
ter of the zone.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS THIS 5th DAY OF
October, 1951 , by the following votes:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Thomas J. Ferrito, Brent N.
