A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
MARLON D. SMITH
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1981, MARLON D. SMITH completed his third full term on
the Los Gatos Town Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, during the twelve years that Marlon served on the Commission since
August of 1969 he has provided enthusiastic dedication to the Town
and leadership to the Commission; and
WHEREAS, Marlon served as Vice - Chairman of the Commission for a period of
four years and Chairman of the Commission for a period of three
years; and
WHEREAS, during those years he attended over 340 meetings of the Planning
Commission and various committees and subcommittees of that
Commission; and
WHEREAS, Marlon was instrumental in the development of various Town policies;
and
WHEREAS, Marlon has over these twelve years given of his time freely and
unselfishly to the residents of the Town of Los Gatos;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Los Gatos Town Council does
hereby commend MARLON D. SMITH for his contributions of the last
twelve years and sincerely thanks him for the time, effort and
dedication he has shown to the Town.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN' OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA, at
a continued regular meeting held this _14th day of September , 1981,
by the following vote:
