A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JESS
SMITH OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY
PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, JESS SMITH has worked for the Santa Clara County Planning
Department for 3S years; and
WHEREAS, he has devoted countless hours and personal energy in promoting
the development of parks and trails systems in the County; and
WHEREAS, he was particularly instrumental in the conversion of an old
quarry to what is now Vasona Park, one of the County's most
popular parks; and
WHEREAS, he has been very influential in the development of the Los Gatos
Creek Park Chain;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos wishes to express its appreciation for the work of Jess
Smith; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town hopes that Jess Smith will continue
his interest in parks and trails; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
on behalf of the entire community, wishes Mr. Smith a most
rewarding retirement life.
