1981-172-Supporting AB-1361 Concerning The Expansion Of Radar Authority For Local MunicipalitiesRESOLUTION N0, 1981 -172 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AB -1361 CON- CERNING THE EXPANSION OF RADAR AUTHORITY FOR LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES. WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos is deeply con- cerned about increasing speed of automobiles on various Town residential streets; and WHEREAS, the League of California Cities has supported AB -1361, which would allow the Town to use radar on residential streets for enforcement without completing costly traffic and engineering surveys; and WHEREAS, this legislation is currently under consideration by the State Senate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos endorses AB -1361 and strongly urges that the State Senate concur in the Assembly action approving this legislation.
