ORDER VACATING PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE
DEDICATION ALONG UNIVERSITY AVENUE
(622 UNIVERSITY AVENUE)
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has Droceeded
under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 (Section 8300 through 8331)
of the Streets and Highways Code, concerning vacation of a parcel of land
dedicated for public street purposes in the Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, consisting of a strip of land approximately 10 feet in width
extending northeasterly for approximately 98.6 feet along University
Avenue, at 622 University Avenue, more particularly described on Exhibit
"A" entitled, "Description of the Public Thoroughfare Dedication To Be
Abandoned (622 University Avenue) By the Town of Los Gatos ", attached
hereto, and shown on Exhibit "B" entitled, "Plat to Accompany
Description of Public Thoroughfare Abandonment "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets and Highways
Code, a Resolution of Intention was passed, a noticed hearing held, and
good cause appearing therefor.
RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds from all
of the evidence submitted that all of that portion of the Public
Thoroughfare Dedication at 622 University Avenue described above is
unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, and
hereby makes its order vacating the Public Thoroughfare Dedication
at 622 University Avenue.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the Town Clerk shall cause a certified copy
of this Order, attested by her under the seal of the Town, to be
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Santa Clara.

Avenue, as the same now exists 60 feet wide, distant North
20° 45' East 251.00 feet from the Doint of intersection of
said line of University Avenue with the Northeasterly line
of Roberts Roac. formerly ,`?Dress Avenue t0 the point Ot
buinning; `hence- along said line Of Ini�,LrsitV Avenue North
200 45 East 98.75 feet to the most Westerly corner of the
parcel of land conveyed by Lester Start, et ux, to Maria:o '.
DeLuca, et ux, by Deed dared February 11, 1949 and recorded
February 16, 1949 in Book 1746 of Official Records, page 317,
Santa Clara County Records; thence along the Southwesterly
line thereof SoutYi 680 East 10 feet, more or less, to the
point of intersection with a line that lies parallel with
and 40 feet distant, measured Easterly at right angles from
the centerline of University Avenue, as the same now exists
60 feet wide; thence along said parallel line South 200 45'
West 98.54 feet, more or less, to the point of intersection
with the Northeasterly line of that tract of land convened
by Harry R. Lord, et ux, to John W. Fields, et ux, by Deed
recorded October 31, 1924 in Book 118 of Official Records,
