A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MANDATORY
ADJOURNMENT TIME FOR TOWN COUNCIL
MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos desires to conduct
its business in an orderly and timely fashion: and
WHEREAS, the Town Council is desirous of providing Town residents with
proper consideration of all issues on the Council agenda; and
WHEREAS, the ability of Council members, staff, and the public to
adequately address various issues diminishes over time during
any meeting process; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council is attempting to provide the best quality
service to Town residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council hereby establishes
a specific adjournment time for all Town Council meetings, and that
adjournment shall be no later than midnight of the meeting day unless
extended by a majority vote.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a reg11ar meeting held this 18th day of
