A RESOLUTION HONORING THE REVEREND
RICHARD T. HOWLEY ON THE OCCASION OF
THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS ORDINA-
TION AS A PRIEST IN THE ROMAN CATHOLIC
CHURCH.
WHEREAS, the REVEREND RICHARD T. HOWLEY was ordained on June 20,
1931; and
WHEREAS, he has been pastor of St. Mary's Church in Los Gatos
since 1961; and
WHEREAS, he has, during his tenure as Pastor in Los Gatos,
exhibited exemplary spiritual leadership to the Los Gatos community;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as Pastor he has been totally dedicated
to meeting the needs of the residents of the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, Father Howley is being honored on the occasion of his
50th anniversary as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos congratulates the REVEREND RICHARD T. HOWLEY on the
occasion of his Golden Jubilee Anniversary of his ordination and
commends him for the work that he has done in the Los Gatos community
since his appointment as Pastor of St. Mary's Church in 1961.
