A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF A PUBLIC STORM DRAIN EASEMENT
WITHIN THE LANDS OF SEMAS /GROUP IV, LTD.
(POLLARD ROAD AND TEAKWOOD AVENUE).
RESOLVED:
I. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate, under the
provisions of Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, (Sections 50430 through 50445)
of the Government Code, a public storm drain easement situated in the Town
of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, consisting of a
strip of land 5 feet wide, located near the easterly boundary of the Lands
of Semas /Group IV, Ltd. at the southwesterly corner of the intersection of
Pollard Road and Teakwood Avenue, and more particularly described in Exhibit
"A ",( "Description - 5.00 -Foot -Wide Storm Drain Easement To Be Abandoned "),
and Exhibit "B ", ( "Plat to Accompany Description of Storm Drain Easement
Abandonment "), copies of which are attached hereto. Said Exhibits show the
particulars as to the proposed vacation, and are available for public
inspection in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos, Civic
Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
2. On June 1, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110
E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California, the Town Council will hold a public
hearing to consider whether or not the easement is necessary for present or
prospective public use. The meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M. All persons
interested are invited to attend and be heard.
3. The Town Clerk is authorized and is hereby directed to publish a
copy of this resolution in the Los Gatos Times- Saratoga Observer, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the Town of

Los Gatos, within fifteen (15) days after the date of its adoption; and
4. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized and is hereby
directed to execute that document entitled, "Notice of Vacation of a Portion
of a Storm Drain Easement within the Lands of Semas - Pollard Road and Teakwood
Avenue ", a copy of which is attached hereto, and the Director of Public Works
is authorized and is hereby directed to conspicuously post three (3) copies
of said Notice, not more than 300 feet apart, on at least ten (10) days before
the date of the public hearing above designated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 4th day of May , 1981, by the
following vote:

All that certain real property situate in the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Easterly corner of Lot 23 as said Lot is
shown upon the Map of Tract No. 3481, which said Map was filed
for record in the office of the Recorder o% the County of
Santa Clara, State of California, on June 28, 1963 in Book 1.63
of Maps, Page 24; thence along the Northeasterly line of said
Lot 23 N. 59° 51'50" W. 10.13 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Thence contl_nuing along said Northeasterly line N.59° 51' 50" W.
5.07 feet.
